Saul answered Samuel, " I have sinned. I have transgressed the LORD's command and your words. Because I was afraid of people I obeyed them." 1 Samuel 15:24

But you are a chosen race, a royal preisthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10
